I just wanted to have some entertainment, so I bashed together a wooden mock-up of a Derfflinger-class battlecruiser. It's about 1:750 scale, but nothing is to scale really, the superstructure is exaggerated and a bit shortened, but it looks the part, and I had fun building it.
It is made to be watertight, and the turrets pivot. When I have finished painting it, there will be a swimming test conducted.
I think I'll build some more stuff like this until my balsa lasts, but I'll return to the Novara project soon.
