• Crime fiction discoveries in 2008
  My response to a meme that's been doing the rounds about new-to-me authors. Out of the 103 books I've read this year, I've read 42 books, by 36 new-to-me-in-2008 authors.
• Featured "Reader"
  Over on Pattinase's Friday's Forgotten Books, a series I've been contributing to for 6 months or so, my picture was featured.
• Progress Report: BLINDSIDE, J.R.Carroll
  I think this book should have an R rating!
• Forgotten Book: SUGARTOWN by Loren D. Estleman
  For my forgotten book this time I have chosen the first book recorded in my current database, read back in 2004, when this book had been published for 20 years.
• Carnival of Criminal Minds #27
  The host this time is Barbara Fister herself, at Scandinavian Crime Fiction, creator of the Carnival.
• Australian LitBlog Snapshots
  Over on Matilda, Perry Middlemiss recently announced his intention to run a series of "Snapshots" on Australian LitBloggers and I was the first cab off the rank.
