A jam jar on Monday

Quite a few years ago my eldest granddaughter presented me with a jam jar she had decorated with tissue paper.  I love jam jars, and I love this jar.  Obviously necessary for homemade jams, marmalade, jellies and chutney, and good for dangling from a string in a Hampshire chalk stream to catch minnows (although I haven't done that for about 60 years), jam jars are great for few stems to make a simple flower arrangement.  Here is my vase for this Monday, with a handful of colourful blooms from the garden.
