Thierry Mugler has a new ambassador for its A*Men men’s scent, the South African double-amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius for the first perfume for men created by Thierry Mugler in 1996.
The “Blade Runner,” Pistorius is a triple world record holder and triple Paralympic champion in the 100, 200 and 400 meters will appear in the commercial and video campaign for the scent directed by Ali Mahdavi in which he can be seen sprinting clutching a bottle of A*Men. Pistorius’ thighs and carbon fiber artificial limbs come coated in a futuristic chrome cladding designed by Thierry Mugler and Stefano Canulli.
