Milani 3D Holographic Nail Lacquer in HD 509

Chancha via Circuito Quimey Neuquen sung by Jose Larradle
Howdy. I hope you are well.

If you're reading this post at the time I'm posting it, I hope it will help take your mind off things (no matter how trivial and frivolous it is) ...

I love nail polish. It was the first cosmetic that I actively felt okay exploring and wearing outside, and so my collection has grown. I have every colour under the sun, of varying consistencies so naturally, I've come to find formulas that I absolutely adore. Today I am showing you one of my favourites from Milani which has been sadly discontinued (a long time ago, even before I had it). Sadly Milani nail polishes in the UK are a rarity (I purchased the ones I have from a US website Beauty Joint). Yet there is some good news ... Milani is now sold in the UK (at Boots), so hopefully, the nail polishes will make their way in-store soon.
Anyway ... The consistency of this old formula is thin but not streaky, the colour is often opaque enough in 2 coats and dries quickly into an effortlessly smooth well wearing finish. Oh and, the bottle is pretty. I have 3 polishes in my collection (2 Holo's and 1 Teal). Today I'm just going to be loving up "HD" my go-to silver polish for when I want a nail colour that's easy to apply/wear, in a not so out-there shade (won't turn many heads) and most importantly, not bore me.
That's right, whilst many find solace in pretty pink-brown or beige hues as their neutrals* (me too at times) I often found peace in the glimmers of this holo. Maybe its because the formula is so divine that I have chosen the nail paint continuously over the myriad of shades at my disposal, or maybe its because the flat grey shimmer sparkles come to glorious holy holo life in the sun/light.
I'm not sure if you're actually able to see the beautiful but subtle splendour of this holographic nail paint. I can almost hear my other nail polishes mouthing the words of Timone and Pumba from the Lion King, as our song begins to play, every time I choose HD, over them. I've used nearly half of the 13.2ml bottle, which wouldn't be so drastic if this formula was gloopy or thick (it ain't) and if I only had a few nail polishes at hand...

Hopefully, you can see the delicate rainbow emitting from my tips, and yes your gal finally managed to get some! Don't worry I can help you get some too, I'm currently in the process of formulating some projects so look out for nail posts and much more soon (tee-he).
So there you have it, one of my favourite nail polishes. Painting my nails is definitely on my self-care list, and I look forward to showing you how you can get great nails at home and beyond. Plus, how growing my nails and maintaining them helped me in non-superficial ways. Stay Tuned!

*neutrals, meaning your everyday comfortable wearable shades for your own activities and or work setting.
